An Art Show this past Sunday...
was held at NC Central University.
Four kid's art from each school (Elementary, Middle, & High) was chosen for display. My daughter's art was chosen!! We were so excited and happy for her!!

I cannot remember how many schools there were. BUT a majority of the elementary schools sent in 4th and 5th grader's work. Jamal only saw McKenzie as being the only Kindergartener with work there. When I talked to the art teacher yesterday, he said he thought he saw one other on the list, but wasn't exactly sure...BUT still even with only 2 Kindy kids, that's impressive!

It's still on display at the college until the end of the month. I don't know what they are going to do with the art when they are done with it.

I still have a dental poster that I did in Kindergarten that won first prize. It's in the closet some where collecting dust! Any one want to purchase it?

Actually, I was thinking about pulling out mine and having it restored a bit (maybe 25 years of abuse can be reversed) and then having both mine and McKenzie's matted and framed ... maybe.
