Anybody else sick on Christmas?

Yes, I'm still sick (I'm seeing the doctor this week though), and depressed since I can't do much and it's Christmas. I was just wondering if anybody else is sick today?

I feel you. I woke up with a croaky voice, a nasty cough, and the gooky-belly from all my sinus drainage. I think I got about 3 hours of actual sleep last night because of the coughing. I feel a little better after a hot shower, but I'm still coughing a little. I get this every year. 'Tis the season...

Hope you feel better *hugs*

Thanks, they even say Dr. Mel from WTNH in CT is sick today with a high fever, so something is going around (which is what I also heard on the news last week).

I used to get this every year as well, but it's been better the last few years.

It's crappy to be this sick on Christmas, hopefully you will get better soon *hugs*.

Yup.

-I've had a nasty virus since November.
-I picked up an intestinal parasite too.
-My Mercury Toxicity levels are elevated again.
-I snapped my left shoulder and torn it up so bad that I haven't been able to move it in almost three weeks. I can't even sit in a chair long, read on my side or hold a drawing pad. I'm typing this all with one hand.

The good news: the sore throat and cough are improving - I have my own bathroom for those "sudden rushes" caused by the parasite - and my hubby has to help bath me daily, since there are some areas that I can't reach to wash,...which sure makes things fun!

Well, my wife and I have both had some sort of sinus/flu thing for the past few weeks. And then I woke up on Friday with a pinched nerve in my back - I've barely been able to move my neck all weekend and I had to finish my shopping wincing in pain the whole way... Merry Christmas to me.

Hope everybody's feeling better soon and your Holidays are suitably Happy!

My first reaction was,...BEAST!
Because I mistakenly read that as "I'm savagely hung"

Guinness, whiskey, something else that I don't rightly recall.

Allison was apparently a very bad influence on you.

Oh yes. I felt a cold coming on over the weekend and woke up yesterday with a fever and the starts of a respiratory infection. Now it's full blown... my compromised lungs and bloody throat wish you all a merry f'n x-mas.

Not this year, but a year ago (pretty much to the hour) I got rather dramatically sick, with my gastrointestinal system demonstrating a very emphatic desire to empty itself from whatever orifices it could. The good news is that I had free medical care available. The bad news is that it was because I was on an expensive once-in-a-lifetime Caribbean cruise. I was confined to my cabin for almost four days, missing every single port we stopped in.

How about sick OF Christmas
Does that count
I'm trying so hard to get in the spirit, and I was a bit yesterday, but today.. I just don't care. I'm not unhappy, but nothing is making me happy either.
sigh

I feel the sick-on-christmas pain. I seem to have some sort of stomach flu...which totally screwed over my whole day.

At least I'm not throwing up anymore! woo!
