It's neat, stockings have this neat thing called elastic in the tops of them. It's a pretty radical invention, you don't have to use garters anymore.

The top is a little like the girl (Mila Jawhatachamacallit) in the Fifth Element. The close-up face has a really big chin, but the design, overall, is really good.

just got an email from ed, and i think i was a bit hasty with this!

the pants are all wrong!

anyway, i drew this after reading the script he sent, damn, this character is the BOMB!

anyway, i'll try to redo this when i get time.

How in the world do you know how it's going to turn out without filling in the blacks? It's great. I wish I could do that but I always have to fill in every single shadow. Otherwise, I can't get the full effect. Yeah, I'm lame like that.

hi jeff,

dude, good question! i guess i just tried to find the negative space of shadows to achieve that shortcut.

i feel i can draw more and not burning out easily by doing it this way, because i sometimes lose my creative thoughts when i do the no brainer work of shading in the shadows. i feel i have more time and energy (and not be distracted easily) by just boxing in the shadows and placing x's.
