this is the final approved pencils for another Bloodrayne cover i just did. final, after a few revisions that is! it was a good thing ed, asked me to redo some parts of it because i was also not a hundred percent sure i myself liked it.

to Cap:lol! dude i told my girlfriend about what is under your username and she was genuinely scared for me! hahahaha i couldn't forget the look she had after i told her!

Excellent cover! I love the composition and linework...I actually prefered the expression in the first image but I do prefer the longer hair. Only thing I would like to see is some hatching/ feathering as there are some large black areas which look ok in pencil but I know won't look quite as good in inks. Overall though this is awesome!

ok about the art, i love the second one more, the first one is... ehm, not my type, it has this funny feeling to it that doesn't match the cover,i mean it's a fuckin monster comin:

yo mike, rayne's hair is really shorter than the second image's, so that had to be cut. as for the expression, yeah, the first has the "whatever" expression this piece needs. it justs looks funneir than the second one because the expression is really magnified. which the guys at Majesco wanted, and i liked it as well.:-)

oh yeah, that's what this image is aiming for, the whatever attitude rayne will have towards the monster at her back. i think it really is a nice combo for the interior pages i did for this comic. hopefully you guys can check it out when it comes out. :-)

I like the "whatever" face. Rayne has a sense of humor, and a playful side; not every cover needs to show her with fangs exposed, ready for battle.

KD..when I think of BloodRayne..I don't even go to the fangs...I think of the eyebrows/ hair peak in center of her forehead and the cheekbone facial structure as she is pictured in the games.
