i would be truly grateful if someone can post some news about this! please, i hope this will get my girlfriend to read comics without me pushing her.

I Love Marvel for doing this. actually, i love marvel even before but this just adds to it!

Stephen King has been doing Dark Tower for Marvel with Jae Lee for awhile now Jake. I guess your birthday time machine doesn't update you on comics .

The first issue of The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born came out back in February, and the miniseries wrapped up last month. It wasn't actually written by King, just overseen by him. Robin Furth and Peter David wrote it.

A sequel is set to debut in February 2008.

i decided what the heck, i posted this 15 seconds after joe q revealed that he was on fanboy radio before 2006!, too late to edit it. might have someone read it already, might as well wing it.

If your comic store doesn't have this, they are stupid. Order the complete trade on line. Jae Lee is a beautiful artist and there is none of the stupid humor that Peter David is known for.

man, i remember when i pushed her to try inking! she kinda gave up not because it was hard, but because she says i am a perfectionist when it comes to inking, and she doesn't want to work under me!

i also remember i would start a fight because i can't understand how she can not have the same obsession from reading comics after i pushed her to read the ultimates. darn, i was stupid back then. as of now, i'd try and leave a comic i just bought and leave it with her until she can read it. she's coming around a bit.

Actually, legendary comic scribe Peter David did most of the writing/scripting. But it's definately still Stephen King.
