I need a matress!

Hit me folks...give me your best, worst, whatever. I need a king that's worth a damn and not going to crush me.

I kid you not, I lost my bed in the last move. Shoot me.

Well, I don't know about brands, but be sure to make them show you the box springs you're buying; they often don't have these out on display at the showroom, they just bring it when they deliver the mattress. The supposed box springs that came with my mattress, which I paid about $200 for on top of the price of the mattress itself, turned out to have no springs at all; it was just a frame of 1X2's with a piece of masonite stapled to the top, all wrapped in fabric.

I'm still kind of pissed off about it.

I can give you my mattress for a house or food, maybe even a car.
I'm willing to dance, rap or draw to cover the rest of the expense.

Uh...Kep? I can understand losing things in a move. Really, I can. I'm sure we're all guilty of it to some degree, but....A KING BED? How the hell do you misplace THAT?!

Quiet you! I'm busy typing up a thread for advice on fall gardening tips, and what to do with Kep's old mattress.

Pillow-top are the most comfortable to me. That's a type of mattress and not a brand.

Should we discuss the changing prices of canned goods?

I have one of those, sort of. Mine has a memory foam top, then a layer of normal foam, then springs in pockets. It's the best bed I've ever had.
