Let me start by saying I don't buy the X books but I do read a friends every month so no matter what, its no money out of my pocket.

First: Is the art a swipe? Looks close enough but who really cares...

Second: Interesting team and an interesting interview. Notice how they keep saying "will there even be a team called the X-Men" after this event. Sure there will... they even say we'll have Astonishing X-Men in the interview but...

Does Marvel have the balls to stop the Uncanny X-Men or cancel one of the two main X-Men titles????

They kept Wolverine out of the main X-books for a while. Not as long as they promised but longer than I expected. Astonishing isn't really considered a main-line X book in terms of continuity too. It kind of holds it's own in a weird way.

Funny how mutants are dying off but we keep getting new X books.

Good observation. If things keep going that way, each and every mutant will have his or her own book.

So maybe when shelves are holding 86 "X" titles, Marvel might have a reason to go hunting for a new EIC. Not that I don't think he had one helluva good run, but c'mon.

God, it's like the editorial staff all have ADD.

The X-people who are still alive are supposed to be shuffled around hardcore after Messiah Complex. And didn't they say Astonishing was going to get a new lineup for Ellis too?
