Wii Games to Own

Anyone have any stand-outs? I might have some cash soon to buy something. I really like Super Paper Mario and DBZ. I don't know what would have a longevity issue. Maybe I should just wait until year's end for an online game....

If your looking for some cheap games on the fly, go with some Gamecube games. I just got Mario Kart Double Dash for $20. You can also get Super Smash Bros. Melee for Around $30 new. I have a few other, and I can give you a list of some sweet ones.

As for the Wii, I haven't enjoyed any game as much as Wii Sports. Its just so damn fun. I own a few, and I've rented a few, here's the list of my games. (*=own, @ = brother own's, # = rented)

*Super Paper Mario - Buy
*Tony Hawk Downhill Jam - Rent - If you like SSX you'll like this game. Controls are easy, and really responsive, but, it doesn't play like any other Tony Hawk game. It even lacks manuals.
*Wario Ware: Smooth Moves - Buy - It does have a two player mode, which you need to unlock, but there are so many minigames, and the motions will get you up off the couch. Lot's of unlockables, and a fun time.
*Marvel Ultimate Alliance - Rent - If you've played it before, don't bother, there are two additional characters on the Wii version, neither of which is all that great. If you like RPG's get it.
#Cooking Mama: Cook Off - Rent - Its fun as hell, its addictive, but its not everyones cup of tea, when this hits bargain price, I'll buy it.
#Rayman Raving Rabbids - Rent - Minigames are fun, but its a bit on the easy side.
#Red Steel - Rent - I liked it, a lot of people don't, I think the controls are great, and for a first try at a FPS on the Wii, its not a fail.
# Super Monkey Ball - POOP! - Minigames that aren't fun, go in this game.
@Rampage - Rent - Its Rampage. You know it, its fun, and there's like 42 monsters to unlock, and it has all the first 3 arcade versions of rampage as a bonus.
@The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Buy - I'm not a big Zelda fan, but this game is sweet. It does follow the same path as all the other Zelda's, Tri-force, Zelda is in another castle, Solve this puzzle buy hitting that switch. My only beef is some of the area's become too large, and it takes forever to get from one place to the other, even with your horse. Oh, and boss battles are awesome.
@Wii Play - Stay away - If you need a controller, get this game, if not, its a waste of $50. More minigames, but they are really simple, and kinda whack. And the control's are that in tune.
@Elebits - rent - I just started playing this game, its pretty simple, its got a neat story, and its actually pretty damn fun to play. You use your Wiimote as a lazer grabber thingie, pick shit up, throw it, and catch little pokeman's.
@Sonic and the Secret Rings - rent - Best current gen sonic to date. Its really fast, and fun. Tutorial mode sucks, but you have to do it, and the cheesy rock anthem is crap. Turn down the volume and play some of your own music.

I'm not saying all these games aren't worth getting, I'd just rent them first, to see what you dig. Hope this helps a little.

You have to beat all 10 main stages, which are like 6-10 minigames plus a boss each, then that unlocks two player. Subsequently, there are 7 Two player mode games, which you unlock after playing the previous two player game, one after another.

If you just keep playing the game, you continue to unlock a crapload of games and modes. One of the games you get only unlocks after you've beaten ever stage. It took me for freaking EVER. But its a sweet extra game.

Wario will last you a long time if you have other people to play with. I've only recently found out why people like DBZ, which somehow should have been a game first but wasn't.

I love DBZ! I'd give my left... uhhh... anyway. I'd really like to play that online!! Yeah, if you dig the series, the mission stuff is fantastic.
