Mr. and Mrs. Merrick

Finally got a couple of quality hours to knock out this mostly non-sequitur pin up for "Blessing". Let me know if it's any good.

Thanks for posting aerosoul. The hand wasn't originally positioned there, and I'm slightly amazed I was ok with it's final placement.

They don't seem to happy about it either. Damn contractors!
Good eye newbold. Clumsy mistake on my part...just more easily fixable than my usual goofs.

Thanks midknight.
I'm glad you like it. I had more than a few misgivings about how it came out, but I'm feeling better this afternoon.

Thanks Fresco. I thought you might see this, and fixed a nasty tangent with the smoke moments before posting to cover my ass.

Really cool. I likt the very desperate feel you captured in this one.

I actually have crits for once tho. Here goes:

There is great destruction in the foreground, but nothing in the background behind the bricks which is cool if there will be a logo or somethin there, but otherwise looks a bit sparse.

Mrs. Merrick's torso may be a bit too long.

The bricks as mentioned above look a bit thin.

This is not really a crit, but who is he defending her from? Maybe a sinister shadow in the foreground or somethin' woulda been cool?

So thats it.

As usual good work though.

PAYLESS salvador!

Why buy the expensive Tims when they're just going to be blown up by an interstellar enemy anyway?

Thanks Fahnon. No logo is planned for this one. I was going for a sense of isolation here, but that can easily backfire. As for who they need defending from, same as every book out there...THE FORCES OF EVILLLLL! And possibly the IRS.
