Eternals >SPOILERS<

This was a cool seven issue run and I want more....

There are still 90 Eternals out in the world that need to be awakened and the Dreaming Celestial stands resurected in a park in San Francisco, the world clueless as to what it really means.

If Marvel picks this up and continues it I really hope they keep Neil Gaiman on it.

i gotta say i was pretty dissapointed story wise with this thing. i mean..it was okay...but it was just to slow for me and not much happened. or rather nothing happened like i was expecting. course...i didnt know much about the characters anyway..so i guess i dont KNOW what i was expectin.
either way..it was so so for me
however...JRJRs art was..i think..the best it has EVER looked. i think danny miki on inks really added to the look. great stuff

The art was amazing.

Neil Gaiman re-working Jack Kirby was fun to see. Its so obvious there's a much larger story and the surface has only been scratched. I can see why someone not knowing what to expect would be left with an incomplete feeling they way the story ended.

ampersand will become famous soon enough
When the series started, I loved it. I'm a fan of Neil Gaiman and Romita Jr., so I've been getting it when it comes out... but, the last couple of issues were a little mediocre. I can't put my finger on why, though.

I loved it. Beautiful three act structure, but it just did not end the way I expected, and I'm cool with that.

Georgeous art. Romita really extended himself, and the inks fit his style to a T. I usually don't buy books based on the artist (I'm more a 'writer' guy), but I pretty much pick up anything JrJr draws.

Just read that the Eternals will come back into play in the Marvel Universe in late 2007.
