A question about inks....
I was at the local art store yeaterday and was looking for good ink. I usually use black magic and seen speedball superblack acrylic ink. Has anyone used an acrylic ink? Can you give me an idea of what it is like? Thanx!

Yup I use FW, good stuff waterproof but dries slowly and has a bit o tack to it if you glop it on. I just add a touch of water to cut back on the tackiness and voila' I'm good to go. But I just re discovered speedball ink and I like it so far.

I like the speedball. It's my second favorite ink. But tops would be Windsor and Newton black india ink (not their waterproof black drawing ink). It has a cartoon spider on the box.

Third for Speedball. I have the quart size and it works just fine. I just let the portion that I am using air out a tiny bit to thicken it up slightly.
