SweetyPulp has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I think you have an excellent style that is well suited towards the old-school feel you are going for.

I would recommend (see corresponding 1) using blacks in your inking, (2) adding more panels, (3) drawing more detailed backgrounds and (4) probably work on your foreshortening which doesn't look quite right to me. (1) A good way I've found to balance a page is to take the black ink you are using to draw with and apply portions of it onto the page in appropriate places. I believe the Joe Kubert School has some good videos on this subject. (2) Adding more panels is trickier because of the composition problems that may occur, but it is possible to get a (3) pleasing effect with a little thought and experience. I recommend first trying to get 6 panels onto one page, then 12, then 24, then 48 and so on in that manner until the page looks just like a series of black dots. (4) The secret to drawing good backgrounds is to trace photos, which is what all the pro's do. (4) For foreshortening it is handy to have a mirror, such as the kind you can purchase at Best Buys, with which you can contort your own body into the shapes you want to draw and then copy that. A mirror has been helpful for me in drawing humans, cars, buildings, aliens and also self-portraits.

A really good start, just work on the things I mentioned and you'll be winning Eisners left and right!

Thank you. I noticed there was a problem with the link to this image so I re-uploaded it.
