Official Press Release

Tis the season for holly jolly and Top 10 lists, and The Last Christmas serves all of them right up! The hit graphic novel by Brian Posehn, Gerard Duggan and Rick Remender has been named to Amazon's Top 10 list of Editor's Picks for 2006's best comics and graphic novels. On that list they are joined by comic book legends like Tony Millionaire and Alan Moore.

A Christmas story that's one part Bad Santa and two parts Dawn of the Dead, The Last Christmas is the twisted vision of Santa's last stand against a world gone wrong. Written by Comedian and actor Brian Posehn (Mr. Show, Just Shoot Me) with writer Gerry Duggan (Icons) and art by comics superstar Rick Remender (Strange Girl), The Last Christmas turns the Yule Tide into a satirical tsunami of mutants, zombies and one jolly old elf's quest for redemption. This is truly a Christmas story you won't forget.

Really, you will not be able to "un-see" the comedic carnage.

I wonder which scene cemented Amazon's high opinion of the book? Was it the scene where a drunken Santa attempts to hang himself with Christmas lights? Or when one of his reindeer is shot out of the sky by a missile? I'm pretty sure it's when Santa kicks a zombie in the groin, but only the editors at Amazon know for sure. (Wow, this book is really *ahem* messed up!) Santa vs. zombies. Who knew it was a recipe for comedy gold?

All this mayhem is wrapped up with covers by Geof Darrow, Kieron Dwyer and Tony Moore, and topped off by an introduction by comedian Patton Oswalt. Now that the LAST CHRISTMAS trade paperback is done rocking the editors at AMAZON.COM, it's headed your way! Look for it in stores November 29th!
