Wow... that question dropped fast!

Well, Dirk Manning is nothing if not fair, so...

God is on Earth. As for what his intentions are... that remains to be seen.

There. Let the speculation begin.

Okay, here's my question:

What would it take to get that story I wrote for you made canon?

Oh well I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to formulate a question, but I probably wouldn't have known what to ask anyways

Your answer to midnightsun's question was already pretty enlightening though

You, uh, don't happen to have a magic monkey's paw handy do ya'?

Ribbing aside, man, I can't get too much into that issue because, well, all of the reamaining giant monsters are dead by the end of "This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both of Us."

I really liked your story, though, and I *still* think you should run with it and turn it into a comic of your own!

SINcerely,
Dirk Manning

Well, I always planned on doing A LOT of them... but as I said over at the MySpace blog, I never dared dream that I'd be able to see my vision through to its fullest (50 stories) until I saw that so many of these talented artists were all willing to join me for the ride.

Once I saw that they were all onboard and excited about making it happen, though, I decided to go for it... and the results speak for themselves.

"Preys Be the Lured" was *definitely* the turning-point, though...

(Although that story was actually illustrated for almost a year before we ran it at the site, because, you know, we're sneaky like that. )

SINcerely,
Dirk Manning

Well, I vowed only to answer these questions on Halloween... but I'll give you a break because you're swell.

"This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both of Us" is the second to last story of the whole series (yes -- including all of the stories we haven't seen yet), with "We Who Are Not As Others" probably being the FINAL story... timeline-wise.

Here's a list of some of the biggies and how they fit in:

"Frozen"
"Trust Your Mechanic"
"Mine"
"You Oughta Know"
"Add it Up"
"The Thing That Should Not Be"
"No One Knows"
"Disasterpiece"
"No More Tears"
"Preys Be the Lured"
"Break Stuff"
"The Milk of Human Kindness"
"A Therapy For Pain"
"Somebody Told Me" (COMING SOON!!!)
"Extraordinary Machine" (COMING SOON!!!)
"This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both of Us"
"We Who Are Not As Others"

Wow... I even managed to drop a few hints in there... as well as two (sort-of) sneak previews!!!

Dirk Manning is most generous... and most sneaky!

SINcerely,
Dirk Manning
