Awesome work Daniel, in particular, the sheer number of characters in that Dr Doom battle scene in post #17!

Good luck with your goals dude!

I don't think this work is as strong as the work that was posted on page 1. Mostly in the figures. Some of the heads look too big to me, like that... I think it is Arch Angel in the upper right hand corner of the first page (I don't know, I don't keep up with Marvel all that much nowadays). Something looks weird about him to me. Like his head is too large or his body isn't long enough. That type of thing creeps up with some of the figures here and there. And aside from that first page, none of the other ones are especially exciting to me, despite the fact that I can tell action is going on. Although, I have no idea what the script says, so perhaps some of it is due to that, and that is a really subjective thing anyway, so it could just be me.
I don't know how you can be dismissive of these pages, they're awesome. Maybe he can move the figures at different dramatic angles, a simplecut and paste job really. I had a look at a recent Spider-man issue and find these more impressive.

Its been a while, mostly cause im running on an old mac and and its harder to post images here, but I wanted to update you guys.

Firstly thanks for all the feedback, comments and opinions. Its all noted.

Im still not working for the big leagues but think its only a matter of time. Didnt think it would take this long, but I keep being told no two people break in the same way

Here are 3 relatively recent samples. I had sent these to MARVEL and they were met with a "these are great". Not work just yet, but Im closer .

Ive been at this for a long time (11 years now) and I do hope I will be given a chance soon. I dont think I had "it" when i look at my old work, but im quite happy at the progress Ive made. Ive placed a lot of hours into this, and plan on placing more....

Great pages!

Wow!, great pages nice laboratory rendering! Out of curiosity, do you still e-mail your page samples to Marvel? To the submissions talent scout recruiter?

Great pages.
Not any thing really wrong with them at all but you could push the expressions more. curl the lips in the snarl a bit more furrow the brow more.
This all looks realistic but this is comics and it always works better to go at least a bit over board. Just an idea of what could be done to advance some what.
I hope you are trying other avenues than Marvel.
Marvel dose not seem like the big time any more. I guess they could use some real passionate creators about now but I am not sure if they appreciate that. The amount of work you have put into your art you should be appreciated.
You could probably do quite well on a crowd funded project even. Money wise crowd funding could be way better that what marvel is paying.

Orlando; Thanks my man. I emailed another sample after these, but not since. I’ve teamed up with an established author and currently translating his novels into a new submission/pitch for a brand new creator owned. Fingers crossed!

Would love to share it here to see what you guys think. I have posted some snippets on my insta

Artsnake; thanks for the feedback. And I’m grateful the work I’ve placed into getting better is evident. I’m torn between wanting to do creator owned and releasing my own ideas, and trying to build a “name” for myself, and with that a following. Was going well till Facebook bought Instagram haha.
