Nevermind that there is a Hank cameo in X2, pre-blue fur.

As Roy said, that could have been an image inducer (though I honestly can't remember him ever having used one in the comics). But regardless, that's a stretch, and for it to work as an explanation it needs to be explicitly stated in continuity somehow -- like Wolf said, it's the "Darth Vader murdered your father" excuse, or "Yoda was the Jedi master who instructed me", etc. Implausible retcons and pat explanations covering for sloppy screenwriters and producers.

Wasn't lame when Nightcrawler also used that Image Inducer.
here's the Beasts origins in Amazing Adventures #11 In these books they even had The beast wearing makeup and a brace to straighten his body out so he could still work at Rand or Brand corp. Had this comic and basically all of the story. Note the Gray fur.

At long last, I've watched The Avengers. Now I have a sudden craving to play Galaga.

I didn't stick around to watch the VERY last minute of the film in theaters, so I I'd like to know if the scene after all the credits is over where they're sitting around eating tacos in silence is in the theatrical release or was that just something they decided to put into the dvd release?

It wasn't tacos, it was Schwarma, giving a nod to a scene earlier in the film.
