Bits & Bobs: Strange Underworld
These are going over like lead balloons, but here's another anyway.
"Strange Underworld" is Dick Tracy + Lovecraft + B-Movie Sci-Fi. http://germcomics.com/crap/strange_underworld_intro.pdf Got eight pages, might pick this up another time, but the prospects surrounding the project fell through. |

Good deal!
Happy reading some content pertaining to the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired content.
As a reader I'm sometimes frustrated by the mid-level of detail in the panel descriptions (example: An abandoned building riddled with graffiti). My brain as a reader comes up with several iterations. As an artist I love it, because it would give me a few different takes on it. As an artist, I would have seen a gothic building in disrepair (especially given the Lovecraftian influence). Sometimes, a few key descriptive words help paint a stronger setting. It's an incredibly minor observation, but something I thought would be interesting to hear as both a reader, as well as a potential artist for the project. Looking forward to reading more about it. Many thanks for posting! |

Thanks for checking it out. On the description thing, I'm not following if you mean the script needs less... or no change in that area.
Either way, let me know. Always appreciate feedback, etc. |
