Neal involved me in only a few jobs. My tight involvement with monthly comics kept me focused on quick turnaround, rather than disciplined results. It took me several more years to understand the need to have the key elements in line from as close to the outset as possible.

Todd Klein's blog is another place you should be visiting, if you aren't already. He's posting a logo a day, randomly, from the early '40s to present day. They're taken from inked originals or the oldest images possible.
