Sketchbook: Baby & Veronica Lake

Am I the only one who goes back to tweak the face digitally on their traditional drawings?

The sketchbook focus will be on drawing faces smallish and more accurate.

Based this off of a old photo of my nephew but changed the pose of the body

Next the lovely Veronica Lake who created a trend with her peek-a-boo hairstyle. Which can be seen in Eisner depiction of femme fatales in The Spirit

PS: Yes, I had to go in and digitally touch up the faces

Sketchbook: Veronica Lake pencils

Appreciate the comment Morgan, thank you. From a branding point of view people want a instantly recognizable style so I'm a little conflicted about being too versatile... Maybe versatility within one style is the way to go.
Not that happy with my previous attempt, having another go at it. Hope I don't ruin it too much in the inks... ah well that's what sketchbooks are for.

Post Apocalyptic

Attended the local drink & draw. 1st time drawing 2 models, less time to get fussy, and just get it down.
