This probably isn't the right place to post this (if you have any suggestions, I'll gladly copy and paste but in the meantime, I just want to get this up...)

Name: Anisa Nixon

Skill: Letters

Website: http://www.uysfaber.com/ (with this specific page showing a 6-page comic that I've lettered: http://www.uysfaber.com/comics/salt-road-4)

Email address: anisa (dot) nixon (at) gmail (dot) com.

A little about me: I live and work in Toronto. I'm currently employed at BookCity (Yonge & St Clair) as well as doing an internship for an indie comic book publisher, UysFaber. I'm just getting into lettering and production but I think things are going well - general response has been good and I've had to work with some tough pages.

Worked with Womanthology before? No, I haven't. A friend of mine (also into comic books) linked me to this particular thread.

Third year uni student at UWE Bristol (UK) studying Drawing and Applied Art.

Worked with Womanthology before? Unfortunately no, but would love to.

Sample of Work:
Do have some better examples of my inking work but I don't think I can post it here because it contains nudity. So this will have to do.

A Litte About Yourself: I'm a short, red haired twin who loves comics, reading novels, picking on her husband, and making her son giggle. I have always wanted to work in comics but gave up on it because I didn't believe that I was good enough. After the birth of my son, I decided that I should pursue my dream while I still have time and to show him that you can achieve your dreams. Now I write and color my zombie comedy webcomic Undead norm and I have written and colored another four page story called "Stone Whisperers" for an anthology called Indie Attack which will be published soon.

Worked on a Womanthology Project before? Not yet.

A Little About Yourself:

I use a Lenovo X61 Tablet w/Manga Studio and Adobe Photoshop for
artwork and my Mac for Adobe Illustrator and the Internet.

I went to art school and have colored a few projects (most are submissions so can't post now). I want to start drawing again and am currently drawing a webcomic that hasn't been posted yet.

I can give more samples via email.

A Little About Yourself: I'm Dawn! I've been drawing forever, and I always thought that my colours were stronger than my art. Although I wasn't sure about inking, I have gotten many compliments on that as well! So I thought I might make myself useful there too. I enjoy coffee, video games, and The Tick!

A Little About Yourself: I have been writing and self-publishing (poetry, fiction, comics) since the 90's and have been involved in various aspects of the comic industry for about 10 years now. I strive to mix it up a bit, get people thinking, and encourage learning. I like to experiment with everything I can in terms of art and writing.

Worked on a Womanthology Project before?: Not yet, though I've been trying to get involved...great project!

Sample of Work: The following is the final page from the comic preview to Grandfather's Watch: Art of War created/written/lettered by me, illustrated by Allyzia Zherno:

A Little About Yourself: I'm an aspiring illustrator and comic creator. I come from a realistic graphite portrait background, but have taken up illustration in the last few years. I am still a big old newbie, but hoping to learn as much as I can so I can refine my style and with any luck, self-publish a story to two that may be simmering in the depths of my brain. Right now, I am a learning sponge!

Worked on a Womanthology Project before? Nope!

Hecate.. from a series of Goddess pinup illustrations that I have been working on.

A Litte About Yourself: I'm crazy. I work a 9 to 5 as Creative Director for a company in Columbus, Ohio. Been doing comics for over 10 years - broke through with Sonic at Archie in 2001 and loved every minute. Will think of comics I am writing/want to write, when I should be doing other things. Am somehow still good at my job. Currently doing a fantasy webcomic, about to start another. Will sometimes tell people I am going on vacation and stay home and draw for days/weeks at a time. I quit smoking over a year ago because the ritual of coming home from work, cooking dinner and lighting up made me too relaxed to draw or write comics. I'm serious.

Worked on a Womanthology Project before? Yes! Heroic was great and I enjoyed being "on call" for anything the editors needed, which was inks and colors, last time. Can't wait to do it again.

Sample of Work: Here's a recent page from VARULV. As previously mentioned, I do it all on this series, so tap me for anything:

Thanks!

A Litte About Yourself: I love art and have since I was a kid. I tried my hand at making a webcomic, but I made the mistake of not writing it the whole way through before I started posting. I plan on finishing the comic before I post anything else. I am currently just doing some side projects with some friends.

Sample of Work: Post ONE sample of your work- Artwork is by Drew Zucker and I colored this with his permission. http://drewzuckersblog.blogspot.com/
