Ok about colors , in comics art you make scenes . Scenes can be terrifying or nice , can be dark or light . After you see some terrifying scene - like first ones , strong contrast light-dark , red - blue , you can not make a statment the collors are terrible . No .That is the scene from that story , from script ,in others can be light , natural scene , others artificial light etc . But again , you can not statment ,,this guy use awfull colors'' . Maybe they are done with purpose in that way.

These new pages that you posted have much more pleasing colour choices.
They feel more natural and atmospheric.

Yup. I was about to give some thoughts, but then I read the rest of the thread.

When you get this response to a critique, it isn't worth moving forward:

No , was that ,, you don't know what you doing'' from his first replay . I notice to not use intense saturate colors ( but again , that color choice cwas done with purpose - space , sci-fi , dark stuff), i have more atmospheric pages but they are underdisclosure.

I start to study again plain air enviroment , and natural light . Thank you

I was thinking of this , It's the perception of ,,public'' who see Marvel Dc and corporation art all his life and when he saw something different who is not in his perspective- education he reject from start .

I give you the link to the comics who have wobble and unrefined ink and terrifying colors https://www.scribd.com/document/3613...ind-o-Pe-Alice

And as a side note: i don't want to make in future ,,corporation'' art , if i loose and the public reject then so be it , at least i don't loose the freedom of creation.

Can you give an example of corporation art? Also, have you seen the Marvel's Squirrel Girl comic?

I was wrong with ,, corporation art'' . For me 99% from comics artists draw in the same way. As artist i'm in continuous search for new expressions and styles , maybe sometime i make mistakes , but i'm still search ( never ends)

Just a suggestion....

If your not a fan of 'corporation art' or the popular styles at DC and Marvel, stop drawing mainstream characters. If you draw their characters, people have an expectation of seeing something similar.

Try a Hellboy, The Goon, Johnny the Homicidial Maniac, Bone, Cerebus, Groo etc
