This... This looks... Surprisingly good.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jccTX6Q-s28 There's a little bit of Supernatural with the brothers and a hint of Michael Fassbender in Virgil, but all is good I think. |

UPDATE: I bought my PS3. The copied games on my internal HDD are:
- Final Fantasy XIII - Dragon Ball Z 2 - FIFA Street 2 - WWE Smackdown Vs. RAW - PES 11 - Winning Eleven 2012 - Tekken 6 - Transformers War for Cybertron - God of War III - Devil May Cry 4 - Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition - Moto GP - Star Ocean The Last Hope International - Shift 2 Unleashed I bought Brink as a BluRay disc but I can't play it because it needs 3.6 firmware. Mine is 3.55 as most of the jailbroken/flashed PS3. |

Brink is okay for multiplayer. I have it for PC, and much like Battlefield, the single player is just AI modified multiplayer. Meh.

Brink's big "sell point" was the action button which let you maneuver more naturally (ie if you came across an arch, you could look up and hit the action button and hop over it, or look down and slide under it). Thing is, you'll VERY quickly forget you have such options and you'll never miss it.

This list might help you, but I personally disagree with some its choices.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/08/...tion-3-games-2 Valkyria Chronicles should have been near the top of that list, not the bottom, considering how unique and inspired it was. If you were a fan of Dreamcast's Skies of Arcadia, you'll love VC, its spiritual successor. It even features some of Arcadia's cast as playable characters.

Give me a few months and I'll update my firmware and get more original bluray games. Sleeping Dogs is out here in Indonesia, but naturally I won't be able to play it before the firmware upgrade.

I'd really recommend Ratchet and Clank for taking your mind away from the harsh realities of day-to-day life and just giving you a chuckle-filled fun time. I had 'Tools of Destruction' sitting around for a good few years (I must have at one time played a lot of it because I could remember much of it this time around) but honestly it wasn't until now, at 30, that I picked it up and appreciated it for what it is, a truly fun-packed all-ages platformer. Don't let the 'all-ages' thing put you off though, it really is much more 'mature' (as it can be) than some other platformers. For example, I've been playing the Sly Cooper series, and really seem to be missing something on all the hype.
So yeah, Ratchet and Clank, 'Tools of Destruction' - if you want something fun to play and laugh along with. Oh, and good God man, get yourself Uncharted: Drake's Fortune immediately. Then buy the sequel. I haven't even got the third one yet, what's wrong with me?? |

I agree on Uncharted & God of War games absolutely!
I also really liked the Resistance games, though local co-op really was what made those game fun. I actually loved Shadow of the Colossus, and they have an updated version available I'm dying to play. ee I don't know if any PS3's these days are backward compatible or not (mine is the old one that plays PS1 and 2), but there's some fantastic PS2 games out there you'd probably enjoy. Like Haunting Ground. It was super creepy!

No PS3's made since, I believe 2008 can play PS2 games. But most can still play PS1 games. I also bought Shadow of the Colossus from PSN based on it's reputation, and I utterly despise it.
