Wrong forum, dude.

Btw, I had a look at your trailer video and spotted Comic Sans for the lettering. The font is frowned upon in the lettering, design and typography community and I'd suggest you replace it with another font. Check out http://www.blambot.com for a great selection of fonts, both free and pay fonts.

Wow! That's under a whopping $16 per page.....I can understand why only the serious need apply. You gotta be serious to work on a page for 8 to 10 hours for only $16. Y'know...if you want decent work.

The average rate for pencils only is over $100...what suckers the pros must be to work for over $100 when they can be earning under $16 per page.

@ Thomas Mauer: I didn't make that video. A friend of mine did a while back. I thought it was cool but I want something more professional. Thanx for the tip bro.

@ CHWolf: I'm back. LOL. Not trying to be funny but I apologize for not answering your posts. However I will make sure i answer any questions and concerns you guys may have.

@ Cheeseisgod1918: Really? Lol.

@ Comics Commando: I'm not rich dude. I'm paying for this out of pocket. I'm working like two extra jobs so I can give some people something when they do some work for me. On one of my jobs...smh... i deliver newspapers at night, newpapers man. I got chased by a poodle last night that I thought was a pitbull at first. Don't ask. After screaming like a girl I finally realized that it was a poodle that has some type of throat infection. That why it sounding like a big dog when it growled. But any way, I can't afford to pay $500 for just 5 pages right now. If i could I would.

This surely is a sign of the apocalypse.

The Aztecs were right.

When they said, "Hey those Mayans might be onto something."

fashion is as related to actors as comics are related to movies and actors. So, adynasty might wanna ponder this conceptual puzzler:

"Keanu Reeves and Johnny Depp are both actors.

Johnny Depp, if paid enough, could impersonate Keanu Bananu Ramu.

But if Keanu Bananu Ramu was paid $2,ooo,ooo.oo, he could still not impersonate Johnny Depp.

Why?"

(and how does this relate to "publishers" offering "projects" for "pay"?)

=============

Neither am I, but I can afford a comma in that statement. So can you if you want to.

Thing is, I was trying to point out the silliness of your ad.

"Inkers, Colorists, and typographers"---I think you mean letterer on that last one...and in the real world they don't earn equal money. Some jobs take longer than others and require a different payment consideration.

Plus the idea of selling the job with nothing to offer--exposure and other bullshit...and a whopping $16 per page. It's easy for me to make fun, but the lesson here is to be real with people and you'll get more respect from the community.

Don't slick it up to the point where we all laugh at the ad....it's silly. Be real.
