My future predictions on movies

I've said this in the past and have been proven wrong but then again, maybe I am still right just at the wrong time.

Comic book movies are getting better each time they reboot it for the most part and other seem to get it just right but we are now at a point where things could change.

Now that Nolan's franchise is over, Batman movies will take a while to reboot...a year or two from now.
A lot is riding on the Superman movie for DC as they don't have a great run for their movies.
Marvel is doing great but, now that Iron Man will be directed by someone else, we may suffer the decline of comic book movies.

If Superman bombs, DC should just stop there.
If Iron Man tanks, it may hurt the Avengers movie later.
By 2014, fantasy movies will be back in the running.

I'm just waiting for the Nightwing movie.
Since Batman has retired, and Mr Blake wouldn't want to steal Batmans glory.

Fantasy Films..... once I heard Mr Jackson say that the Hobbit may become 3 films, I started thinking negative thoughts.

After Spider Man's reboot didnt take off as well as others this summer, Batman ending, Avengers ruling the summer movies, there's about 5 more years of super hero movies.

There's no way the super-hero movies just end after 5 years. That's so abitrary I'm wondering how you came up with the number.

We have until 2017 to watch super-hero movies? O_o

By 2014, Captain America 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy will be out.
Lets not forget Iron Man 3 has already come out in 2013 and Thor 2.
I'm sure they'll reboot the Hulk or put him in Iron Man 3 or something along those lines.
Man of Steel was good but still not as good as Batman was and people don't care for caped heroes on film anymore.
DC decides to scrape making a movie for each hero and just makes JLA.
JLA flops.
People are getting tired of heroes in tights but high hopes for the next Avengers to redeem the super hero genre.
By 2015, Avengers 2 will hit, more aliens and dimensional things. It'll be good but not as good as the first one.

By 2016, video game movies like Halo, Assassin's Creed, and the Tomb Raider reboot have been successes and people start to watch the video game movies as they provide more variety and already have a following.

2017, Marvel tries to spice things up with comic book movies but the overload drives people away, Disney starts turning Marvel into a game franchise after the success of several DC games. Marvels Avenger Game flops. Interest in Super Hero films are going down the drain and Hollywood has seen a bigger dollar in games.

2018, Sean Bean survives in a epic video game movie where he plays a character in Assassin's Creed 2 the movie. Dies in real life.

2019, doesn't matter because it's all going to be shitty 3D and no one cares about movies but live action video games and space travel are the new thing.

IMHO you're late by at least 7 years on this one.

3D's been around since the 1950s. It comes and goes.

Well, space travel is the 'new thing' pretty much now, and live-action video games essentially = flash mobs.

Yeah, but before the 2000's, 3D was just a fun, rare gimmick. Now it's an overused, often poorly done, money turkey.

Exactly but some people love it, some people hate it, others don't care.
By 2019, it will be so common that no one cares about it.

By 2014, Captain America 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy will be out.

By 2015, a massive fleet of alien invaders come down to Earth to bring about the apocalypse and everybody died. The invaders were sorry because they couldn't make the 2012 deadline as the Mayans predicted.

Great, I think you gave Hollywood the plot to the sequel 2012 - 2
