OHHHHH firestar!!!

These are all great Mark.

Hmm. What does it look like with the fire lineart removed?
Or perhaps the other way. making the painted fire match up more with the lineart.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I really wanted to remove the fire lineart. And I did a version without it but I want to hear back from Robert first since he did commission me for this.

Love the Hulk and Black Panther images.
The Hulk has a great skin texture, and the colour choices and background treatment of the Black Panther is very nice.

However, I think that your Iron Man is the weak spot. The overall look and texture of his suit feels like material to me. Obviously, it needs a metallic feel. I think less 'gritty' texture and some stronger metallic/reflective highlights would really improve this piece.

BUT, overall a damn cool thread.

Thanks!

I appreciate what you're saying about the Iron Man pic but I specifically didn't want to go in that direction when I started that piece. Mainly because I hate rendering shiny metal, heh, but also because I wanted to make him look like he's been in some action, covered with dust, dirt, etc. Also I was approaching it in a way similar to the film version and Adi Granov's depictions in which he isn't super shiny and reflective.
