Hey Devin,

Thank you for your insights and advice! I look forward to hearing more of your responses, I too am interested in hearing any advice you have to offer on how to develop the nitty-gritty parts of the story between the beginning and the end; I have one story concept in particular where I have the beginning well fleshed out and know how I want it to end, but every time I write the story in between things become more ambiguous.

I do have one question of my own. You mentioned earlier that it is important to know who does what in comics and who to approach for the type of work you want to do. This is very tricky for me, because as someone aspiring as both artist and writer my prefered subject and style is very nichy. Also, it is influenced much more by "magical girl" manga than any American comic, and even the American comics I like are kind of out there (like "A Distant Soil").That said, my question is this: How do you go about finding the right people to approach for the type of work you do, when your work is very niche specific? How do you even know where to look to find such people?
