Comixtribe.com has professional editors doing script assessments

To all writers here, www.comixtribe.com has a feature called THE PROVING GROUNDS where two editors, myself being one of them, do full and concise assessments and breakdowns of full-script formatted stories and then post them up for the writer and anyone else who can learn from the information. It's a great opportunity to get read by not only one editor, but two distinct approaches to your script.

Steven Forbes, FORBY here on DW, is the editor-in-chief and final say on the script after I break it down with over 20 years of editing experience.

We look forward to seeing your scripts submitted to TPG@comixtribe.com for full evaluation.

That is a great project, by the way. I reference it several times per week. Thanks for the time and effort you put into it!

Hey, George.

You should have gotten an e-mail saying that we don't allow anonymous internet handles, and to sign up again with your real name or professional name.

Thanks!

I hope my script isnt to painful. That scripting style I sent isnt not exactly the main natural way I write.XD I'm used to prose oriented scripting.

Hey Steve!

Thanks for the heads up, I apologize if I caused any annoyance. I went ahead and re-registered (hopefully the right way this time 'round) and eagerly await hearing from you guys!

Cheers,
George!

MailOrderClone will become famous soon enough
Having spent the last couple of evenings digging through the back catalog of Proving Grounds scripts, I have to admit to being guilty of quite a few of the issues that Mr. Forbes is pointing out. I would encourage any writer to give this feature a look. It's only going to help us all out in the long run.

Steven - You can export your PMs as various filetypes to save on your computer. Dunno if that'd help clear your inbox. You can do all of them at once, creating a single file you can then use "find" to get info from if you need it.

I was going to just hang onto everything, but luckily found the export option.

Thanks for looking! I'm glad you're finding the articles useful!

And please, don't call me "Mr. Forbes." Sounds so official and standoffish. I'm just Steve. Or, that-damned-bastard-who-thinks-he-knows-everything. (That's my Indian name...)

Okay, one more reply, then editing, then SLEEP!

Thanks, Wolfie! I did it, and my PM box is empty for the first time in almost 2 years. (Shows how often I get pm's.)
