This...this does not bode well.
I mean, sure, Chris Lambert didn't have a Scottish accent, but that was okay for a medium-budget film in the 80's. This is a big budget production. And, really, the article says that the immortals are vying for The Prize: immortality. REALLY? Anyway, I'm no longer interested. The only thing that holds the vaguest of notions of interest for me now is who's going to play the Kurgan. Other than that, this movie is officially dead to me. (And no, it's not that Reynolds can't act, it's just that he has two modes: Van Wilder and Van Wild. One guy is funny, the other is semi-serious.) -Steven |
