A logo
Here's my latest revision of that Bauhaus-inspired font I keep rambling about:
![]() Of course, when I say that it's Bauhaus-inspired, I mean that it's... Bauhaus, except for the clip-art ouroboros I'm using for the 'O'. Initial thoughts: Aforementioned ouroboros isn't working, but it could once it's bulked up a little more. It needs to be heavier in order to mesh with the other glyphs. Thoughts? |

I'd have to see it in context of series art. With all those non-joined areas, it may be sacrificing legibility for style. The area that isn't holding-line or interior is awfully narrow. Against busy artwork, this logo may vanish altogether.
Picky bits: The "K" may be accurate to the font, but it's too wide in context of the other letters, and, given its separated elements, may not even read clearly as a "K". Most importantly, your ouroboros ought to be a bit above and below the x-height. |

Thanks for the feedback, Tom! As there is no series artwork beyond character designs at this point, there's no rush on this, and at some point I will have at least a penciled cover to put it up against, so that's probably when I'll nail down a final design.
Bauhaus's "K" is hideous, especially at large sizes. Gonna tweak it with the pen tool and see what I can accomplish. I'll update with a new version at some point. |
