'Silent Planet' (from new member)
Hi! I'm a new user here and would love to get some feedback on these. They are a five page story from C.S. Lewis' book 'Out of the Silent Planet.' If you are not familiar with the book, it is a book about a man being kidnapped and taken to Mars where he encounters several species of martians. One of them being an otter/seal-like species. The book was probably conceived possibly in the '50s, so the concept of Mars is maybe dated, but I hope my pages are enjoyable. To see more, go check out my Deviantart page at http://aarontp.deviantart.com/?
I would appreciate any critiques, comments of suggestions on these. Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I love these books (That Hideous Strength is my favorite), and I think you've done an excellent job translating it to sequential form!

Apart from the 3rd panel on page 1 (not sure what's going on there), all this is gorgeous storytelling and I dig your artwork.
I'd buy this now, this instant. Welcome to the boards! Do post more! :M: www.magnus-aspli.com |

I like your visual interpretation of this story, and I especially like the shadows of the branch and leaves falling across the protagonist's back in panel one of page one, that was very well-rendered. I'm still learning shading/shadows, so I notice when it is well done.

I think you have done a great job of bringing these characters to life. I love the one of the otter/seal on page three (snuff snuff)- it feels like he is looking right into my eyes. These pages leave me wanting to see more...and that is always a good thing!
