here's a little something i did for Jason Metcalf, art was by him, colors by yours truly Todd Rayner. enjoy!

Oh god no.... that fire just isn't working at all.....!!!!!

you're doing ok with the red and gold bits on her costume for the most part, but her face is too red and doesn't follow the lineart shadows...but that fire is just awful.

I disagree, I think it looks awesome. If you put a defining border around the figure it would make it much crisper, but I actually like the way the fire looks more than the other.

to a point i agree with you sean, this was my first try at coloring her, and i would consider going back and tweeking her, but i already got paid, the artist has made prints and last weekend at the phoenix comicon it out sold the other colored phoenix print which was the same art 3-1 so somebody out there likes it enough to buy it. i'm not 100% happy with it and looking back i would definitely do some things different on it but hindsight is always 20/20. thanks for the input, i'll take into consideration if i ever do her again. and glad you like it Joshu-uh.
