Good start! The WW piece is much more convincing. It is obvious that you used reference for that one and not Batman.

Thanks Bishop! Yes you are correct, I used a reference for wonder woman and took more time for her but batman was made just out of my head and was made relatively faster. I am looking to improve my skills and any comment and criticism is welcome.

Working out of your head is good, but reference is always better. You will find that the work out of your head will become better the more you use reference over time.

Hey nice pics.
I see by your WW pic that you're not a gentleman lol... you made her a butterface! I think you should make more head studies. The batman is much better now, I mean the coloring... the pose is unatural. If you're looking to ditch reference use, you got to doodle more. More sketch work helps you to understand figure drawing. I know it's a bit frustrating to not make finished pics, but studies are the safe way to improve. |

No. Stop now and move on, otherwise you are going to get stuck in a rut. At the base level, the fundamentals are off on these, and without a complete redo, reworking the colors aren't going to help you. Take what Matango and Bishop have offered and start something new, with a fresh perspective. You will gain so much more doing it that way. Good luck.
