The inking looks awesome vandal and omega, why Joe drew it that way I don’t know. This is something that it doesn’t matter how good my skills would be, I hope I stay from doing something like this in comics… I said hope. I likes. -- the inking.

Holy crap! Enjoy challenges much? There is so much going on in this page I wouldn't know where to begin! It seems like Violator is getting a little lost in the sewer muck. Wish I had something to offer up on how to go about it but I'm a little at a loss.

With each successive piece it seems like you are going thinner and thinner with you line work. Consious decision? Or did you change tools? I kind of enjoyed your use of bold lines mainly because they scare the crap out of me.

Now lets see some more!!!

Hey Vic,,good to hear from you again! I hadn't really consciously decided to use thinner lines although I do find them to be more challenging which keeps me interested in the work. The tools are the same as always although I am using WAY more quill than I used to. Mostly it's about using ALL the weapons at my disposal and trying to achieve mastery of all of them.

Awesome. Vic I thought Vandal was going wit’ a Toddish look with this one. “Broad lines?” I prefer thin, but Vic is right Vandal. Awesome.

Hey Vandal - You know I loves ya man but this last one just isn't separating for me. Too much going on and it just seems to run together, you know? That upper brickwork just doesn't fade either. Almost same thickness on the lines for them middle ways all the way to the back.

The amount of time to do this one must have been just ridiculous though.

Awesome, this reminds me of that old school front cover of X-Men by Jim Lee, inked by Williams.

Super sweet Vandal. Diggin that wispy haphazard kind of flow you get with the hair. I'm still trying to achieve that.
