Little over a month ago the minds behind Skullkickers was accepting submissions to be part of Tavern Tales Contest.

I didn't win and this is my pitch.

The Pitch: Baldy and Shorty are trekking along a small mountain range. They are dragging along a fast talking scam artist. They have named Beer Money. Normally they would smash his brains in, however, he's worth a lot more alive than dead. This annoys our heroes but the thought of a month's worth of drinking money, far out weighs (only slightly) the thought of hauling his corpse around. Little did our mighty pair know that their drinking money was about to be snatched up by a menacing winged creature from the sky. The duo struggles with the winged menace briefly but the creature escapes with their booty. Not ones to give up, our heroes track the thing to it's nest. They discover that the prisoner is still alive and is about to be a snack for momma winged creature's babies. Our heroes make quick work of the formidable babies and are about to escape with Beer Money when momma returns. Using their famous "toss me" move... Shorty is launched into the air killing the winged beast in one amazingly gory shot.
