Multiple Animation Projects need preliminary art & animators.

Hey there!

I'm a writer/creator with a couple connections that I'd like to exploit. One of these venues is the world of animation.

I have an inroad, however narrow, to get work in front of folks at various channels looking for new animation projects.

I can't pay out of pocket, but I am definitely down with co-ownership and splitting any revenue that comes our way.

(I'm also open to doing a web series, in which case we could split all revenue brought in with no middle man. For an example, see http://homestarrrunner.com )


Anyway, I believe in putting all my cards on the table when it's necessary, so here are short summaries of all the animation projects I am currently trying to 'staff'...

"Lost Resort"

Short summary: A suburban family moves to the Bermuda Triangle and purchases a run-down resort on the nexus of time, space, and the afterlife.

Flavor: Nonsensical humor. Everyone from Gov. assassins to pirate skeletons to the Sun itself take time off at this resort. Things are always going awry, and the family in charge are usually the cause of it all.

"Underlings"

Short summary: A basement comic shop is home to all the nerd stereotypes you love to hate and hate to be. The staff avoids working whenever possible, and the owner engages in one horrible promotional idea after the other.

Flavor: "The Office meets Big Bang Theory". Ugh, I felt dirty just typing that, but it gets the point across. Pop culture humor, quirky characters, and workplace horrors abound...

"Choke Hazard and the Shoot Force"

Short summary: Picture a realm where all the toy lines of the 80s share a single world that's always a hair away from armageddon. Military heroes, demonic villians, and obscene product placement collide.

Flavor: A bit of everything -- Our hero, Choke Hazard, is the leader of Shoot Force - a team of demented commandos in the style of G.I. Joe. Together, they take on evil warlocks (ala Master of the Universe), big pollutors (ala Capt. Planet), and the perils of teen pregnancy. Yes, everyone is a toy - No, it's not pretend.

Co-ownership will depend on what we end up doing together. So for example sending a sketch and disappearing will not mean co-ownership if/when the concept is picked up.
