Thank you for the comments. We worked on it for 4 years in the dark and it is very interesting to see how people reacts to the initial idea/concept of it now that it is finally out in the public. Personally I would very much like to hear feedbacks on the story, characters, designs and so on, so we can do better to correct or improve on future releases.

First thing I'd like to say is your site needs a fixing, almost none of the links except the first page works...

Despite living in China for the past 10 years, I probably won't buy it mainly because I dislike the manga style... But the concept is somewhat intriguing... Is he a Lei Feng clone? I also can't imagine the culture shock he would have in today's "communist" China... emphasis on the quote marks... I'd be also very curious about his standards of justice, like will he battle corruption and does he accept the current capital punishment for corruption? Would be also interesting if he'd actually clap down on a corrupted officer only to find out he is his grandson... And would he have any qualm about it (because dedicated countrymen would have to denounce family members back in his era). How would he react to the fact that the contemporary CCP has somewhat admitted that The Great Leap Forward was a mistake, considering he himself is a product of it, would that make him question his own identity amidst the changes in Chinese society?

Anyway, so many interesting angles that could be great for a very compelling character development, but if you are targeting the China market with this (and being manga-style), I will assume it will remain on the light and superficial side of superhero storytelling... Oh well, maybe sharing my reflections on the concept can give you some plot or character development ideas anyway... Send me an PM if you guys need plot ideas lol...

He would make a great superhero. What would captn china do when he came accross a vandalising teen? We all know captain america would give him a speech about freedom, liberty and the american dream, in real life teen would spit in his face and tell him to f**k off, if CA touched him the teen would sue his blue pants off him.
What would CC do, what we all would wish we could, break the shit out of him. Reduce the manga styling, make him a real communist and you got yourself a reader

Just picked up both. Always liked Jim's artwork and this is no exception!

Jademan comics is back! ^^

Love that scene where the thief steals a woman's purse and they tell CC to do his thing and stop him...and he just shoots him and says, "Crime can't go unpunished in the great nation!"

Then gets chewed out for it! I did laugh (yeah, I have a twisted humor).

Will get vol. 3!

Not a massive fan of Jim's art style (not my thing) but the colouring on those covers looks great.

Sadly I won't be buying this because of my New Year's Resolution not to buy any more books or other media till I finish the pile of stuff I have to get through from last year.

If someone wants to buy it FOR me though...
