Artist needed for short horror story for published comic
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for an artist to pencil/ink a 12 page story that will be published in the ongoing comic "Kent" published by Back Row Comics. It's a horror story with a solid twist, my attempt at telling a monster story that has never been done before, and those that have read it seem to agree it is 100% original for its particular genre. I'll gladly send the script to anyone interested, as well as more info about Kent. I'm looking for an artist who can handle tackling a hairy monster, a forest background, and a bit of gore. This will be a backend % deal, which is hopefully ok since it's just a short story. It's more about getting a cool story out there. I can promise it will be published and sold online, at conventions, and in some stores. Please send along samples pages or an online portfolio, I will send script back for you to check out to see if it will be a good fit. You can check out some of my work on these sites: www.deathsprings.com (my recently launched webcomic) www.bscomicbooks.com www.backrowcomics.com If you click "Comic Gallery" on that second one you can read many of my shorts. My contact is: backrowcomics@gmail.com As for credits, a comic I created called "A Life of Death" is currently up for a 2012 Eagle Award. I have been featured in several issues of IF-X, Im a Geek Presents, Asylum Ink, FTL, an upcoming issue of Digital Webbing Presents and a few other anthologies. Through Back Row Comics I've released the anthology Back Row Presents, Blood and Brains, the mini-series Motorsyko, my webcomic Death Springs and the ongoing horror anthology Kent. Thanks and I hope to hear from some great artists soon! Brady |
