Need Artist For New Pulp Comic

My name is Ron Fortier. I've been a professional writer for over thirty five years and you can check my credentials at my website listed below.

In conjunction with Redbud Studio, we are putting together a one shot comic featuring a classic 1930s public domain pulp hero named I.V. Frost. Think of a cross between Sherlock Holmes & Mike Hammer and that's Frost. Again, this is here because it is NOT a paying gig. I have two scripts, one is 12 pages, the other 11. Editor Rob Davis and I are looking for a pro-level artist not afraid to draw period tales and to do the research to get it right.

Once stories are completed, Redbud will publish the book via Ka-Blam and sell it through (www.IndyPlanet.com) - Any profits made will be split equally between the entire team, to include inker, letterer, colorist...whoever is part of the process of making this book happen. Be aware, Moonstone Books has I.V. Frost prose novels and anthologies in the works right now. Thus giving this comic lots of free publicity. For whatever reason, they do not want to do pulp comics, whereas they are becoming very popular what with Dynamite doing both the Shadow and the Spider these days.

Anyone wishing to try-out needs to send me pages samples as attachment to (airship27@comcast.net)

Thanks ever, Ron
