Hi everyone,

My name is David Smith, I do the webcomic Poet Ink.

I've actually been doing this comic on the web since 1999, but back in 2004 the (pay) webserver I was using had what I call a "virtual heart attack" and since I didn't have the forsight to make backups of my site, I ended up loosing nearly 200 comics I created over a course of 7 years.

Now after a 4 year hiatus, I decided a couple of months ago, to resurrect my comic and start over again. I was able to find a few of my old strips from the original run via archive.org's wayback machine. So if you're interested please have a look and let me know what you think!

I have a flash intro on my main page, and also the navigation buttons are flash. I'm doing this mainly because I want to learn as much as I can in flash because I intend to also make full animations with my strip's characters.
