Wow what a bunch of douchebags. Although, it IS something that drunk people were able to break into an art museum that actually had valuable stuff in it, without any sort of planning or anything. Says something about how much they care about objects that they "love and are proud of," if the alarm was triggered, yet the guards weren't able to arrive in time to prevent drunk people from punching a hole in a painting and escaping from the museum.

You know, I haven't heard much about Steve Wynn recently.

It's a serious blow for comedy that a moderator hasn't edited chaosgoat's thread in members only to add 'destroyed priceless artwork' to it

That group of drunks weren't naked, so it wasn't her or her friends.

I'm always amazed that priceless paintings are hung where you go right up and touch them. This awesome for being able to look at them, and usually there is a line on the floor your not supposed to step over. But I always see little old men and women guarding them. When I go to the museums I dig out my glasses and get up really close so I can see how they are painted, but I don't touch them and they usually leave me alone.
After a field trip to the SF MOMA I joked in my sculpture class that you could walk right up and scratch the paint off a Picasso. My teacher wasn't amused, and she gave me the 'stink eye' for a week!

They were probably looking for Manet's work.

I think a few months ago someone broke into one of those old time villages. They then broke a bunch of antiques. They actually threw a bench into a wondow to get in.

The guy on the left is most likely dead. It's hard to say how exactly he died but it involved a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
