Nano cameos

Anyone fancy making a personal appearance in my Nano? Just give me a random anecdote from your life (a real one, if possible ), and I'll try to write it in. PM me, if you want names changed to protect the innocent

What type of anecdote you looking for? I have a really dirty one from work that you could use. It involes a transsexual who hasn't had the full operation yet.

PM me the details, and I'll think about it...

OK. The book is going to be made up of a series of interviews / statements gathered as evidence against the central character (Uncle) - who may or may not make an appearance himself. Not sure what the crime is, yet, but it may well be murder. This story is possibly a continuation of a short story I wrote about a robot concubine who blows up, destroying herself and killing her human lover. She was created by Uncle, who included a self-destruction device in her.

So, it is possible that Uncle could be prosecuted for the murder of the human, since it was his device that killed him.

Does that help?

Ok, but do you want a rough quick story and you dress it up?

Last week my 90 year old great grand uncle, 'Uncle Charlie', died of West Nile Virus. The day before he got sick he'd driven 200 miles to Nashville for a bowling tournament and probably to visit one of his girlfriends, one of the 'widder women'. Anyway, all that and a mosquito gets him.

Thank you. I didn't know him really. It's just one of those 'you just never know' kinds of things.

Losing older relatives is weird - it's not totally unexpected, yet it still affects us.

Still, I get your point about him being 90, driving all that way, and dying from a mosquito bite. I appreciate the randomness of it - if that's not a disrespectful thing to say. Since you posted the story, I'm guessing I'm OK to make use of it?

Oh, go write your own biography, ya slacker!
