New to DW - Intro and Looking for Feedback & Help/Suggestions

Please forgive me if I've put this in the wrong location, but it doesn't quite seem to fit in any of the 'categorized' threads, and this one seems the mst generalized...

Firstly, a big hello to everyone! From what I've seen so far, there's a *LOT* of great talent here and I hope some of you would be willing to take an aspiring dreamer such as myself under your wing (at least temporarily). I've tried my hand at a lot of things (excelled at some and fallen flat on my face at most of the rest). I work long and unpredictable hours, but I do hope to be able to do my part to help out with this community.

Secondly, a bit more about myself. I'm a student of many 'disciplines'; writing (as in short stories & novellas), graphic design, artwork, game development, screenplays, architectural drafting, mechanical engineering, etc. A regular "Jill of All Trades, Mistress of None" situation, if you will, and probably far more critical of myself than I should be. But there you have it.

My current aspirations are to develop some of my prior and developing stories into 'comic' format; most likely starting out as online comic pages though hopefully progressing into published comic and/or graphic novel format. I have a couple of rough layouts for one such story available at http://home.comcast.net/~twylafox/samples.html so you can get a better idea of where I'm at currently. While my artwork does have its moments, I find myself lacking the... 'consistency'? to make a real go of some of my projects.

Hopefully I can encounter people here with whom I can form one or more mutual collaborations with; dependent, of course, upon their needs and my own progression. Thanks in advance to any and all who can help guide this wayward girl at least a few steps in the right directions.
