Muffy and Sparky
Here's another concept of mine in honor of my Father...sort of
Muffy and Sparky By: D.C. Lee Synopsis: Two of the most underestimated and borderline dangerous “shipjackers” have finally been captured. Brought to trial by the intergalactic Laserteers, they were supposed to be executed. But instead they were made an example of. Sparkminster, a perverted wise cracking electrically based energy being, and Du’Von, a self loathing cannibalistic space Amazon, were going to be forced to use their talents for good for once in their decrepit lives. They were going to be sent to a back water planet with their parole officer and his mechanical assistant to use their talents to uphold the local laws and protect the innocents of that planet. The planet in question was a “Class 5” which meant it needed all the help it could get. It was polluted in certain areas, the attitudes of the populace varied from pleasant to downright foul. And the intelligence factor varied just as much. When landing on this planet known as Earth, they realized they needed disguises and quickly checked out the territory they were in, which was known as Beverly Hills. Taking on the best and worst traits of the majority, the forged their new identities. Du’Von became “Muffy” a budding fitness model with a potential sports shoe contract on the way. Sparkminster became…well…“Sparky” the advertising executive who discovered his young bride (which isn’t that far from the truth). But they didn’t stop there, convincing their parole officer Bexhun (bee-zon) to “join in on the fun” he took on the alias of “Yancy” the ever loyal butler (who secretly has eyes for his female employer). And naturally the android BS-13 takes on the form of the pool boy…and the bartender…and the driver…and the chef…and, well you get the idea. But it’s not going to be easy doing their job. When words gets out that they’ve gone “legit”, every hood they screwed over is going to come looking for them. And they thought this was going to be boring. Naturally our beloved heroes will have troubles from both above and right where they are. From the Yakuza to the Intergalactic Sadist Club, these two will have their hands full. And don’t think that the robot they now have as backup is running on all six pistons either. |

I think this premise has a real good vibe. A sort of "slick-sarcastic" tone. What's more, we need more self-loathing cannibalistic Amazons in comics. To me, the only weak spot in this premise is why a pair of space scum like your protagonists are being given a second chance at all instead of being sent to, uh, Space Prison. Maybe one of them is related to a highly influential familiy or politician? To me that's the only part of the premise that needs more detail.
Can't wait to read a script based on this.

It's all about humiliation. These two have a rep for getting out of trouble, so once they're actually busted, the Laserteers try and draw it out as long as possible.

Early on they do intend to, but after a while they naturally begin to realise that they've been given gifts that could benifit more people than just themselves.
