Artists Needed for Rotted Capes: A Super Hero/Zombie RPG

Hello,

My name is Henry Lopez and I own a small role-playing game company called Paradigm Concepts, Inc (www.paradigmconcepts.com).

We’re in the middle of producing something different than what we’ve published in the past: a Superhero/Zombie mash-up RPG entitled Rotted Capes.

For this project, we’re looking for a couple of different types of work:

1. First, a 3 page sequential art “comic” that will be used to set the tone of the book.

2. Secondly, a number of interior B&W art pieces ranging in size from ¼ page to ½ page pieces. Think of them as panels if that helps.

The sequential art needs to be in B&W pencil and ink (or grayscale). If you can do color as well, we can discuss an additional fee to get them in both B&W and in color.

The interior illustrations need to be in pencil & ink (or grayscale) and in a style reminiscent of the “Bernie Wrightson creepy style”; very moody and definitely not cartoon-ey or Anime/Manga.

The final illustrations need to be delivered electronically as a 300 dpi (or higher) PSD or TIF file.

Sketches are required for final go ahead.

Deadline: We’re looking to have the sequential art completed no later than by April 20th. Interior pieces have a longer deadline and we won’t need those until sometime in late May or early June.

Contract: We do work by contract and this is WORK FOR HIRE, however, provisions are made in the contract for you to retain the rights to sell the originals, reproduce them on your website and/or other promotional material.

Payment: Payment is $100 per page of pencil & ink of sequential art (If you can also do the coloring, we can negotiate on additional payment).

Payment for Interior ¼ page (B&W) is $25, with ½ page being $50.

Payment can be made either by company check or PayPal, as you desire. Payment will be made no later than 14 days AFTER Final Approval of the illustration(s) is given.

Please send sample pages, illustrations, or a link to an online portfolio if one is available.

I have been given the unenviable task of sorting through dozens of extremely capable and talented artists and deciding who to select as there's not enough work at the moment for everyone.

I will be sending everyone a reply, one way or the other, in the next few days tops.
