Ok. I love what I can see of the background. And you have an enviable grasp on shading. Very strong pic overall. A few things bother my eyes though. Spidey's legs seem to be awkwardly angled-- even for him. They are angled toward the viewer a bit too much while his upper half is facing the other direction as though each half of his body is moving independently from the other and in opposite directions. These types of poses can sometimes work, but they're tricky to achieve. You basically have to be showing Spidey in mid turn, which means his body language has to reflect the fact that he's using the bottom half of his body as a weight for the turn. You really have to think about the physics of how you would do that to sell it to the reader. Otherwise Spidey just looks a little broken. This same principal throws off the angle of the head as well. So try to think about how Spidey would shift his weight to achieve a turn and how his pose and his musculature would reflect that. Does that make any sense?

Anyway, I do enjoy the pic. And keep practicing. You're a damn fine artist already, and I only posted that particular crit because I can tell you're capable of perfecting this piece.

I agree about the leg, but my concern would be the eye/visors placement on the head... maybe raise them a little?

did a quick drawover with changes i would make. Hope you don't mind. The main problems I saw were the alignment of the torso and the pelvis. I think they're twisted too much in the original which gave the legs the weird perspective. I do agree the lense placement should be a little higher and I think the spider on his back should be moved to be more visible and the curvature should match his back.

Mushu nailed it. That's pretty much what I would have done.
