Street Fighter IV Collector's Edition Announced

I went and got my pre-order today. Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed PS3 gets the Ryu figurine exclusively while 360 only gets this Crimson Viper chick. I may just buy both, take the Ryu figurine out and try my luck at selling the game without it.

The Art Keeper will become famous soon enough
man, that crimson viper figure is a huge letdown. why did they think they had to invent a new character to make this game popular? the ryu looks ok from this screenshot, but a chun li figure would have pleased 360 owners, not made em feel like dirt.

I'm pretty pumped for this one. Glad I've got a PS3.... still, I's rather have Akuma. Always a fan of the bad guys.

Hey man Neca is releasing figures for this game. Series one has Ken, Ryu and Crimson Viper so no need to buy both versions just pick up the neca ones when they come out.

The revoltech line for Street Fighter Online has also been released. So far Chun Li, Ryu, Guile and two other original characters from SFO is available.

Not really related but:

I would kill (okay, not kill, maybe maim) if Revoltech did a MechaGodzilla (any version). Bandai's are nice and detailed, but the movement and posability of those Revoltechs... *drool*

They don't look that bad but yes the Viper chick looks the best mainly because she doesn't have as many joints or their concealed better with the black outfit.

Those are the first real action figures I've seen from Neca, most are basically statues that can move alittle bit. In general Neca has been dissapointing, their paint jobs are pretty crappy on some figures. I bought the player select Lara Croft (Legends one) and it was badly done.

Have you checked out the series 3 GOW figures? All their doing is re-releasing figures with different heads. Who the hell needs another Marcus Fenix that looks the same as the other 2? I'll probaly buy the Cog soldier one since I don't have Carmine or Baird yet even.

yeah, i'm gonna guess they have different teams handle dif items at neca hince why sometimes you get really cool stuff, and then other times crap...

i've been hanging out on the capcom official messageboard, turns out the collectors figurines are mini-statues and not the neca figures released here. guess i shoulda figured that from the previews.

as for the GoW 3 series, this is true. sadly in gears 2, this is exactly what the characters look like though. the unique ones to get are:

the theron palace guard: http://www.action-figure.com/modules...index&id=90278

and benjamin carmine: http://www.action-figure.com/modules...index&id=90277

even though benjamin has the same body as his brother and a dif head, if you can't find a comic con one it's worth it. the thing that bothers me about carmine is he uses a sniper the entire game of gears 2 and here they have him with a shotgun...

they could of def did without the cyclops and the grappler. a smarter move would of been to release benjamin carmine, dizzy, and tai along with that theron palace guard. that way only carmine would of been a copy and the rest unique.
