Serenity 1 Dark Horse Comics

Got this today after a week without anything new to read. I gorged on the excellent art and the script which is in part by Joss Whedon.

A really good read that captures, very well, the best elements in the series (Firefly was the TV original title) and the brilliant film- bloody hell I love that movie.

martin993 will become famous soon enough
I remember reading one a while back that was meant to bridge the gap between the show and the movie. That was cool. Is this that or something new?

There's a little mistake that slipped by on one page of that comic. In a dark sky in one panel, you can see the letters BWS in several spots in the sky. It was a note to the colorist, meaning "black with stars" that they neglected to get rid of.

Maybe they just really like Barry Windsor-Smith? Thanks for the heads up, I have to search for this at the LCS.

I passed on this newest mini.

I read the first one and it just didnt have that "ooomph" the show did. The same goes for the Buffy and Angel comics.

Joss' stuff just doesn't translate well for me from screen to comics.
