Coppermine VS.....a bunch of images
What exactly is Coppermine? Is it better than just putting up images? On my site, I have an option of installing it, and wonder if I should learn about it......

I like Coppermine; we use it for the Newsarama blog. But I was advised against using it on my personal blog (when I had one) because Coppermine is so big and bloated.

Coppermine isn't the only image-managing program. The Digital Webbing blog uses the unimaginatively named ImageManager, which isn't quite as "slick" as Coppermine -- but it's not nearly as bulky, either. It's easy to use, and it does the trick.
