Not counting civilian identities, or clones, who has gone through the most super hero/villian identities? You know, through various sources, like character evolution, undercover jobs, etc., some characters have been known by more than just their hero identity. Who holds the record for most identities ("official" or temporary)?

I think Moonknight would be tops with 4.
Daredevil had 3 at one time.
The dial H for hero kids don't count.

Hasn't Guy Gardener gone through 4 or 5 identity changes? What about Spiderman? Clone aside, he's had a few...

There was also "The Amazing Bag-Man", you know, when he wore the bag on his head that time. And he was Captain Universe once.

Shall we count that six armed Spidey? Maybe I'll put in the red suit as well, since I heard Cap calls him 'Tony's Bitch' more often than just 'Spidey'. :D

No, not talking about variations on a hero. Six armed Spidey was still spidey.

bag-man was also just another Spidey variant liek the black suit and his current Iron spidey suit. hornet, et al were actually different identities.

What about the Hulks? Green stupid Hulk, Mr. Fixit, Hulk with Banner's conscience, Maestro...they were variants, yes, but they were also different identities. Man, talk about schizo.

Hank Pym had five really if you count the uncostumed, but still superhero 'Doc Pym' persona. Though he is a doctor, so that's pretty much just his name.

Yeah both then you;d have to count everyones civilian persona as they have all been caught needing to save someone without theor costume. Then it's all a wash.

Not a civilian persona, he actively fought crime as part of a team under 'Doc Pym' or 'Doctor Pym', using his powers and gadgets. His civilian persona is Hank Pym, doctor of science.
That's tantamount to Spidey saving crime and spouting: "Just your friendly neighorhood Peter Parker," not just saving crime out of costume. :har:

Peter isn't doing that now though. He's still Spider-man, costume and all, even if people know his name. He's not going: no, don't call me Spider-man, but Pym was saying: yeah, don't call me [insert previous name here], just call me Doc Pym. I think that he adventured and hero'd under the moniker Doc Pym specifically, which isn't what people who know him call him, makes it count beyond a civilian name.

Astrovik was Marvel Boy and Justice.
Astro was Major Victory
They're the same person in different timelines. Vance Astrovik shortened his name to Vance Astro. He is the same guy that becomes Major Victory in Guardians of the Galaxy in an alternate future. So technically that should count.

Carol Danvers has Ms. Marvel, Binary, and Warbird
Kitty Pride has Shadowcat, Sprite, Ariel, though I believe Sprite and Ariel were more nicknames that heroic identities.
If you want to count multiple personalities, David Charles Haller (Xavier) was Legion, Cyndi, Jack, and Jemail, all with different powers.
Didn't I just read a page recently about a crappy villain who's being revamped into a real threat? I want to say DC comics. Some old timer that's shown up under like five different names over the years. Now they're like living radioactive rock or something. Forget where I read it, last month's Wizard maybe?

Because Astro came back in time and activated the latent mutant powers in Astrovik, Astro insured that his timeline would never happen and thus they are 2 different people with some shared history.

There, the Hank Pym bit was even mentioned in NextWave, I believe I stand vindicated. I very much doubt it's the case, but I'm going to believe in my head that Ellis read this thread and sided with me.
