Ultimate Conan

Anyone else pick up this book? Foreword by Todd McFarlane and written by Roy Thomas. It's basically and overview of Conan and his world. I had a Amazon gift certificate so I grabbed and received it today. I've gotten through about the first 30 pages and rapidly decided to drop almost everything to finish it off this weekend.

You had me thinking Marvel was releasing a new Conan title :rolleyes: . I saw this as well, definitely a must-have for Conan fans (new and old) everywhere.

i didn't pick up this ultimate conan, but recently bought robert e. howards original conan stories. they have been re-released in three trade volumes, ordered by the time the stories were originally written.

Glad Image did this, now we know you can use the Ultimate title without worry.

Sounds like a great product, I might pick it up for my brother for Christmas.

It's not an Image comic or even a comic at all. It's one of those licensced DH books. McFarlane did the foreword because of his work on the toy line. It not really called Ultimate Conan it's Conan the Ultimate guide to to the world's most savage barbarian. All listing refer to it as Ultimate Conan.

Well either way, my brother used to love those Conan comics. I'll have to check it out, this is the first I've heard of it.
